Huge casks of sherry

Victorian illustration to download showing huge casks of sherry on a quay, with spectators looking at them. These enormous barrels were imported for the Great Exhibition of 1851 by the London wine merchant John Fowler. They were the largest casks ever imported from Spain, and the London docks had to provide special equipment to unload them, which can be seen in the background. The larger casks contained 2900 gallons of sherry, and the smaller 1350 gallons.
