Victorian illustration to download showing men, women and families visiting a museum. They look at exhibits in glass cases and cabinets in a large room. The cases in the foreground contain metalwork and ceramics. This was the Museum of Ornamental Art, Leeds, a temporary exhibition held at Leeds General Infirmary in 1868 to help defray the costs of building the hospital. The building was designed by George Gilbert Scott in the Gothic style; it opened as a hospital in 1869.
